If you're with a technology company or a major brand that's launching a new product, one of the biggest challenges you face is how to get it accepted by the market quickly and impactfully.
For many companies, the answer lies in creating a strategic partnership or a licensing deal with top artists and content providers like film studios and record labels. And if you're a major artist or content provider, chances are you're already looking for additional, non-conventional revenue streams.
But if strategic partnerships and licensing deals were that easy, it wouldn't take so long to put them together and there wouldn't be so many lawsuits afterward. That's why technology companies, major brands, film studios, record labels and established artists turn to me. I connect the dots between entertainment and technology.
Technology companies work with me because they need traction and fast market penetration. I do that by connecting them with the key decision makers in the entertainment industry and by putting together the right content acquisition deals between top musicians/celebrities, record labels and film studios.
Content creators and providers (including major artists) come to me when they're looking to get their music or film into a mass distribution scenario, want to secure incremental revenue streams based on emerging technologies, or want to leverage an integrated brand campaign for an upcoming launch or tour. I do that by connecting them into opportunities with the right decision makers in technology companies and major consumer brand companies.
I've been at the nexus of business, technology and entertainment for over 20 years, so there are few people I don't know -- and there isn't anybody I can't access. Approaching top tier artists and influential decision makers is like breathing to me. (See my client list.) But successful arrangements are about more than access. And for artists, it's rarely about just the money. Successful arrangements are about knowing what's truly important to each side of the deal. Having lived in these different worlds myself, I can translate culture gaps and points of pain effectively between both sides to create more profits in less time for everyone. (Not coincidentally, these are the same skills I deploy in my work as a Life Coach.)
In other words, I'm not a 'hit-and-run' dealmaker; I stay the course to ensure that the relationship is rock solid and that both sides are getting their needs met. And since I’m not limited to an agency or artist management roster, I can work across the full range of established artists.
